Six people are dead and three seriously injured in Louisville, New York after a crash on Saturday involving a 2021 Freightliner box truck and a 2013 express bus, according to New York State Police. Police responded to the fatal accident on State Highway 37 at around 6:02 a.m. All the victims were aboard the express bus, police said in a news release. Of the three injured, one is in critical condition and two are "seriously injured." "State Route 37 from County Route 14 to Coles Creek Road in Louisville, St. Lawrence Co., is closed until further notice due to fatal crash involving a bus and a box truck," state police tweeted later on Saturday.
A Texas man allegedly admitted to authorities that he murdered and mutilated his wife, according to a news release published by the Waller County Sheriff's Office. The Waller County Sheriff's Office responded to a call about a possible death at a southeast Texas home about an hour away from Houston around 4:35 p.m. Wednesday. "During my short time with them, they were a very nice young couple," he wrote. The Waller County Sheriff's Office and District Attorney's Office are investigating the murder. The district attorney's office did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Walgreens customers can buy six over-the-counter pediatric fever reducers, the company said in a statement. “Due to increased demand and various supplier challenges, over-the-counter pediatric fever reducing products are seeing constraint across the country,” Walgreens said. A human heart was found in Tennessee by workers making brine, prompting a law enforcement investigation to determine the organ’s origins, state officials said. Workers found the heart Thursday at a state Department of Transportation salt facility in McEwen, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said. The probe will be conducted along with deputies with the Humphreys County Sheriff’s Office, the state bureau said. A South Carolina man is in custody after allegedly fatally shooting three of his family members, including an Atlantic Beach councilman, according to the Horry County Police Department. The victim was identified by the Horry County Coroner's Office as 52-year-old Natasha Stevens, police said. Town of Atlantic BeachJames Dewitt II is listed as a councilman for the town of Atlantic Beach on their website. Also known as the "Black Pearl," Atlantic Beach is a historically Black community located just north of Myrtle Beach. The Horry County Police Department and Richland County Sheriff's Department are continuing to investigate the three homicides.
